Meet the Team

Our customer service and our social values define us.

Real people. Real experience.

We know that our native language defines us, gives us an identity as individuals and within our culture. However, in an increasingly interconnected world, we need to communicate with people from all over the globe. An effective and accurate translation opens doors to new opportunities for both our personal and professional development.

Alyssa Morse-Salvati

Director

Originally from the Boston area and a graduate of Tufts University, Alyssa studied translation at NYU and has more than 15 years’ of experience in the field of translation. Over the course of her career, she has translated legal and financial texts for some of the largest firms in Europe.

What she enjoys

Alyssa has always been interested in other cultures and languages. She took her first solo trip when she was just 10 years old. Having been invited to visit a school friend at her home in Venezuela, Alyssa saved up her babysitting money and never looked back. Learning Spanish and discovering other countries became her passion. Years later, she would meet Jaime ? while studying Spanish in Madrid, Spain and the rest, as they say, is history..

In her free time, you can find Alyssa devouring books, working out and lavishing lots of attention on her dog
MacarenaMacarena (yes, like the song).

Jaime A. Carrión

Technical Director

Jaime has been working in web development for the last 15 years and developed his own translation company in Spain. He studied design at the Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University and handles the technical aspects of U.S. Language Services.

WHAT HE ENJOYS

Jaime finds it difficult to answer the question “Where are you from?”. Although he was born in Ecuador, he has lived in Spain and the United States and feels a great affinity with all three countries. He is fascinated by the perspective and knowledge gained from learning about other cultures, so much so that sometimes he can’t stop talking about it.

When he isn’t working, you can find Jaime taking care of his cactus garden while listening to podcasts, running, flying his drone or trying to finish a map of the video game, Factorio.

We believe languages are bridges between cultures, not social barriers.

Anthony Rodríguez

Project Manager

A graduate of Hardin-Simmons University with a degree in business administration and bilingual in English and Spanish, Anthony has a natural talent for project management. He fluidly coordinates a large volume of translation projects with translators in more than 20 countries.

WHAT HE ENJOYS

Anthony has a passion for learning and is constantly signing up for new courses on a broad range of topics ranging from business to finance to international commerce.

When Anthony has free time to spare, you can find him at the gym lifting weights, attending a concert or watching his favorite soccer team, Real Madrid, win another championship.

(William)
Quoc Dung Hoang

Assistant Project Manager

William is a Hardin-Simmons University graduate with experience working with multiple cultures in an international environment. This experience makes him a great asset to the team. He is also fluent in both English and Vietnamese and has excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills.

WHAT HE ENJOYS

Having an IT degree along with Management, William is always passionate about learning new concepts in the technology field and coding.

In his free time, you can find him watching wrestling, playing soccer at the local futbol club, or reading a book.

Certified Translation

What is a certified translation?2020-04-10T10:52:38-04:00

A certified translation is a word-for-word translation required for official use by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), universities, colleges, state or federal institutions and courts.

All our certified translations are issued in accordance with the regulations established by the USCIS, the institution that most frequently requires this type of document. A certified translation includes a certificate issued on our corporate letterhead signed by the translator and a U.S. Language Services representative in PDF format.

How much does it cost?2023-05-01T07:17:26-04:00

The price for a certified translation is $39.00 per page. No hidden fees.

Each page may contain up to 250 words or fewer including numbers. Pages may be letter size (8.5″ x 11″), A4 or smaller and one sided.

For languages that use logograms, such as Chinese, Korean and Japanese, each character is considered a word.

How are the pages counted?2022-06-28T09:54:53-04:00

When you order a certified translation, the most significant variable is how the pages of the document are calculated. We take into consideration both the number of physical pages in your original document and the total word count.

Each page may contain up to 250 words. Pages may be letter size (8.5″ x 11″), A4 or smaller and one sided.

For example: A project with 2 physical pages that each contain 500 words (1,000 words total), is calculated as 4 pages (1,000 words ÷ 250 = 4 pages).

What happens if I don’t count the number of pages correctly?2020-04-10T10:48:37-04:00

Don’t worry. Our team reviews each order individually. If the number of pages is greater, we’ll contact you with instructions on how to proceed. If you ordered pages in excess, we’ll issue you a refund using the same payment method.

How long will it take?2023-04-29T12:36:46-04:00

For most common languages, including Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian and Chinese you can expect to receive:

  • A 1-3 page translation in 2 business days
  • A 4-10 page translation in 4 business days
  • An 11-20 page translation in 6 business days
