Our translation team is comprised of professional translators who allow us to offer translation services in more than 35 languages.

Gema Pedreda
Spanish, Portuguese, and Galician Translator
Gema became interested in translation as a university student. She loves connecting people from different parts of the world through her translation work. When she’s not translating, Gema enjoys spending time with friends and family and her pup Casper, as well as reading, dancing and crafting.
Daniela Wolff
Daniela grew up speaking both German and English at home and has made German to English translation a career for the past 22 years. She’s fascinated by languages and has studied several, such as French, Spanish, Italian, Russian and Japanese. In her free time, you can find Daniela painting, cycling, cooking, practicing yoga or hiking.
Un So Diener
Having lived in Korea, Germany, Costa Rica and Mexico before arriving in the U.S. for college, translation has been a part of much of Un So’s life. Being exposed to various languages, she developed a habit of asking herself how she would say something in another language whenever faced with a unique phrase. From there, she naturally progressed to a career in translation. In her free time, Un So likes to spend time with her son and her two cats or watching a good K-drama or fantasy series while knitting or crocheting.
Andrei Mitichkin
Andrei’s infatuation with all things English and American prompted him to learn the language and, as luck would have it, he loved the language as well. He has been a full-time translator for 5 years and finds bridging the gap between cultures to be empowering and enjoyable. When he has a spare moment, Andrei is a locksport and knife sharpening aficionado, in addition to being a fan of sports, video games and music.
John Michalis
John has been interested in languages and etymology for most of his life and found that translating was a great way to use to turn this interest into a career. John has now been translating for 13 years. He loves the flexibility that comes with being a translator. As long as he has his laptop and good internet connection, he can work from anywhere. When he’s not working, John enjoys basketball, a good movie and traveling via motorbike.
Nahla Elfeky
Nahla has been passionate about language since she was a child. Her interest in the origin of language and fascination with how language dissolves barriers and constructs bridges between people, led her to build a career in translation 25 years ago. When Nahla is not translating, you can find her traveling to new destinations; preferably near the water, as she loves rivers and relaxing on the beach. She also enjoys spending time with her dog, Milo and cat, Alex.
Devin Singh Stewart
Devin’s interest in choosing a career that would allow him to help people led him to pursue translation. To date, he has found his career choice gratifying as it has allowed him to combine his passion for languages with his desire to help people. Devin has recently taken up the harp which he enjoys practicing in his free time. You can also find him delving into books on history or traveling when life permits.
Helia Vaezian
Helia has been a translator for 15 years and loves how it is both an art and a science. She has always been fascinated by the interwovenness of cultures and languages. As a translator, she sees it as her duty to free herself from the source language and culture and move to the new world of the target language without losing the meaning. When she has free time, Helia devotes it to her family — watching movies, tending to their vegetable garden and cooking.
Benjamin Miller
Benjamin has been interested in languages as far back as he can remember. As a result, nearly a decade ago, he decided the natural next step was to become a professional translator. He enjoys the challenge of adapting one language’s idiosyncrasies to another. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and discovering local cultures — whether that be through dance lessons or learning a new fold instrument.
Ludina Sallam
During her time living and visiting Egypt, Ludina has taken a great interest in the culture. She has been a translator for 5 years and loves that it allows her to share Egyptian culture with other parts of the world and that it exposes her to new and interesting topics. When she is not translating, she loves to camp, travel and spend time with family and friends and play music.
Lena de la Rosa
Lena has been translating as a career for 5 years. She has always had an appreciation for languages and enjoyed studying various languages in school, as well as learning them through her travels. In addition to translating, Lena also works as an interpreter and particularly enjoys transcreating. When she’s not hard at work, Lena spends time with her toddler — taking walks, playing ball sports and generally keeping busy.
Sawako Oh
Sawako enjoys translating. Finding the right words to convey the correct meaning of a text, all while sounding natural is both fun and a challenge for her. She has been working as a translator for 15 years. While she isn’t working, Sawako loves to travel and has recently picked up some new hobbies — paint by number and playing the keyboard.
Robbie Long
Robbie has always loved languages and discovering new cultures. As a result, becoming a full-time translator over a decade ago simply made sense. In addition, it affords him a great deal of freedom and flexibility which he greatly appreciates. When he isn’t working on a translation project, Robbie likes to explore new cities, read, watch movies and catch up with friends.
Laura Moreno Huete
Laura began her career as a translator a decade ago. Her love of languages and passion for reading and writing made translation an ideal choice when she was deciding what career path to pursue. Ten years in, Laura enjoys the variety of texts that she gets to translate and how she is always learning something new. When Laura has time away from work she loves to get outside and hike and discover new places. You can also find her at the movies, playing board games or reading in her free time.
Natasha Liberman
Natasha has been translating for nearly four decades. For her, translation began as a necessity as she understood English better than many of her relatives and acted as their translator and interpreter. She finds translating to be fascinating and likens it to solving a math or physics problem with tangible benefits. In her free time, Natasha enjoys reading — children’s and young adult literature are particular favorites. You can also find her gardening or kayaking if the weather is right.
Cecilia Garbin
After receiving her Master’s Degree in translation Cecilia embarked on her career as a translator. Her interest in translation came about after having lived abroad for a year. Friends and family often asked Cecilia the meaning of certain words and she found she enjoyed it. When she has free time, Cecilia likes to watch sports, particularly, rhythmic gymnastics and to visit new places — whether it be a new country or a new restaurant.
Tom De Vogelaere
Tom’s interest in translating began during family vacations as a child. He always had the inclination to translate whatever signs he would see on the side of the road. What started as a childhood game, began what is now a career spanning more than two decades. Tom’s interest in translation continues because, like languages, translation is in constant evolution. In his free time, you can find Tom riding his bike, kayaking or reading — likely something on WWII, a topic he finds fascinating.
Rocío Fantin
Rocío’s passion for learning new languages and travel led her to study a degree in translation. During her studies, she was able to spend time abroad and expand her knowledge of foreign languages to include German and Dutch — two languages she continues to study today, along with Italian. She has been translating in a professional capacity for several years and loves that it allows her to express ideas in new and interesting ways. She enjoys discovering new places, spending time with family and friends and cooking.
Alexandra Gheorghe
Alexandra has been fascinated with languages and cultures since she was a child. She enjoys the challenge of translating which has always seemed like solving a puzzle to her. By finding the right word in each context, she is able to bring the broader picture to life. She has been translating for 9 years and in her downtime likes to hike and meditate.
Ihab Abdelhafiz
Ihab has been a dedicated translator for the last 15 years. His love of translation sprung from his fascination with languages and the opportunity that it provides him to learn about different cultures through the texts he translates. When Ihab isn’t translating, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing sports.
Davidson Fatima
Portuguese and Spanish Translator
Davidson has been fascinated by languages since he was a child and has been translating professionally for over a decade. His attention to detail, meticulous nature and love of linguistics are all wonderful assets in his chosen profession. When Davidson has a spare moment, he loves to exercise, play violin, cook and engage in his faith.
Catherine Lin Piao
Catherine has been translating for more than two decades and, although she has focused for many years on the fields of medicine, science and technology, she has recently broadened her expertise to include a wider range of topics. She finds translating both fulfilling and meaningful, as it is a means to address issues and forge connections in our complex world. When she has free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, visiting museums and more recently – running.
David Segarra
Having grown up around English speakers, as a child, David was intrigued by English and phonetics and for more than 5 years now, he has been translating professionally. He enjoys figuring out how to translate complex sentences. According to him, it makes him feel like a detective who has solved a little case. When David isn’t sleuthing around, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, reading and racing.
José Paéz
José became interested in translating as a career about 20 years ago and hasn’t looked back. He provides translations to clients around the globe and loves that his job does not keep him tied to one place and that he is constantly learning something new. In his free time you can find him swimming laps at the local pool with his wife or enjoying one of the many sports he follows – from racing to ice hockey to football.
Piotr Bieńkowski
Meet Piotr, our seasoned Polish translator who has been immersed in the profession since 1992. Self-taught in English during his youth in Poland, he later pursued formal studies, leading to a lifelong career in translation. Piotr values the translation process and its ability to connect people through language. Outside of work, he enjoys family car trips, photography, cycling, electric scooters, and amateur radio. A dedicated family man, Piotr also cherishes walks with his dog.
Denise H.
Denise was drawn to the field of translation by her passion for building bridges between people and cultures. Fascinated by languages from a young age, she sees language learning as an ongoing adventure, one she now brings into her professional life. With over three years of experience as a translator, Denise combines her love of languages with cultural sensitivity to help clients connect across borders. When she’s not working on a project, you’ll likely find her exploring new places or enjoying quality time with her family.
Clara Dacosta
Spanish, English, Galician, German, Portuguese Translator
Clara’s desire to understand other cultures led her to translation, convinced that communication is the closest thing to a universal bridge between people. She has been working as a professional translator for nearly five years, translating between Spanish, Galician, English, Portuguese, and German. Outside work, Clara is back in the pool after years of synchronized swimming, shares her home with two cats named Queixo and Mel (Cheese and Honey), and is slowly venturing beyond savory cooking into the world of desserts.
Michael Blaskowsky
Japanese Translator
Michael was drawn to translation by the challenge of making something inaccessible suddenly within reach: a combination of creative problem-solving and genuine service to others. He has been translating from Japanese to English for over ten years. When he is not working, Michael practices Aikido, tends to his garden, explores cities on foot, and fills the time in between with movies, music, cooking, and a good book.
Eva Kristofova
Eva’s journey into languages began at fifteen, driven by a need to truly understand the lyrics of Nick Cave, a fascination that dictionaries alone could not satisfy. That curiosity grew into a 25-year career translating from English into Czech and Slovak, with a particular passion for technical documentation. In her free time, Eva travels across Europe for exhibitions, studies new languages, and is rarely without a Maine Coon cat sleeping beside her computer mouse.
Ezz Eldeen Mohammad
Ezz was exposed to Western culture from an early age, and with a mother who is also a translator, pursuing the profession felt like a natural progression. He has been translating between Arabic and English for over five years, drawn above all to the freedom of expressing ideas precisely across languages. Away from his desk, Ezz plays volleyball with friends on weekends, practices piano, sings, and is currently studying Japanese and German.
Alain Mouchel
What drew Alain to translation was the sheer diversity it demands: one day a metaphysical treatise, the next a political analysis. He has been translating from English and Danish into French as a freelancer since 2010, treating every project as an opportunity for continuous learning. In his free time, Alain keeps up with the Danish press online and watches US television series in their original version, a habit that keeps all three of his languages sharp.
Kimberly Martinez
Kimberly built her career around language precisely because she wanted work that was both flexible and meaningful, connecting people across cultures in a practical, lasting way. She has been working as a professional translator for ten years, specializing in English and Spanish with a focus on the education sector. Outside of work, Kimberly values slowing down: time with family and friends, long walks, and creative projects that keep her thinking and growing.
Albina Akhmedova
Albina has spent the past twelve years doing work she genuinely loves, helping people navigate important documents across Russian, Turkish, and English, her two native languages and her adopted third. When she steps away from her desk, Albina takes walks in nature with her two children, listens to music from around the world, sews, bakes, and follows developments in technology with the same enthusiasm she brings to her languages.
Johanna Baldisserri
Johanna came to translation through a fascination with how meaning and nuance live behind words, and the challenge of preserving both across languages. She has been working as a translator for twelve years across French, Spanish, and English. In her free time, Johanna travels when she can, shares good food and conversation with her family, and finds particular pleasure in Mediterranean culture and cuisine.
Rosario Fernández
Spanish Translator
Rosario’s path to translation began with a love of literature, Julio Cortázar above all, and a growing fascination with the responsibility of carrying meaning from one language into another. She has over six years of experience translating English to Spanish, specializing in legal and healthcare content. In her free time, Rosario travels, discovers new cuisines, and is currently studying Italian, with creative and digital projects keeping her equally engaged in between.
Mariem Ahmed
Mariem discovered a passion for translation through the experience of becoming a true mediator between two languages and cultures, a process that opened up an entirely new way of seeing the world. She has been translating between Arabic and English for eight years. Outside of work, Mariem enjoys traveling, watching movies, going for walks, and exploring new fields wherever her curiosity takes her.
Natalia Pierro
Natalia was translating songs as a child just for fun — by the time she chose a career, the decision had already made itself. She earned a degree in Legal Translation in 2008 and has worked as a freelance English–Spanish translator ever since, specializing in legal, education, and healthcare documents. In her free time, Natalia reads in both languages, goes to the gym, takes long walks, and catches musicals at the theater with her mum and daughter.
Sofie Ziskind
French and German were Sofie’s favorite subjects in school and never quite stopped feeling like hobbies. She has been translating full-time since 2014, working primarily from German and French into English, with occasional Russian. In her spare time, Sofie practices urban bird-watching through a telescope — kestrels, hoopoes, and kingfishers among her regulars — while her large dog of uncertain pedigree keeps her company. She also ferments things, writes comic songs for friends online, and keeps bugs in jars.
Michelle Deeter
Chinese Translator
Michelle knew she wanted an international career; it took her first Chinese class in college to understand exactly what that meant. She has been translating Chinese into English since 2006, drawn above all to the variety the work brings — one day a business contract, the next a set of song lyrics, and no two projects quite alike. Away from her desk, Michelle climbs, kayaks, and listens to music.

Turkish Translator
Cemal was drawn to translation by a fascination with how meaning shifts as it crosses cultures — a craft, in his view, of capturing not just words but the essence and intention behind them. He has been working as an English–Turkish translator for over ten years. Away from his desk, Cemal channels creativity into handmade decoration projects, explores new destinations with the eye of a local rather than a tourist, and winds down with films and music.
